Why Does My Doctor Look Different Story

Visual Supports for Autistic Children

I was at the doctor's office today and my doctor was saying that children who have come in are scared of her since she has to wear a mask and face shield. She said she's never experienced that before. I told her I'd make a story and laminate it for the clinic (that way they can spray it and clean it). Here is the link to the free story!

Wow – this is great. Would it be possible to do a similar one for going to the Audiologist? I work with lots of deaf kids who would really benefit from something like that

Thank you very much for sharing these social stories. Do you perhaps have the Afrikaans version of the "Doctor" story please?
