What Hurts? – Visual Support

Visual Supports for Autistic Children

This visual support is to help children who are non-verbal or have limited verbal skills be able to express what hurts.  You can have them point to the pictures, or cut out the choices on the 2nd copy and velcro them to the main chart.  Then, they can pick up the picture and give it to an adult to communicate.
