This is part 3 of the At Home Speech Therapy series and includes five colorful scenes that can be used to elicit language in children in the early childhood, preschool and early elementary level. Each scene has a list of prompts and directions for the following: receptive language (vocabulary, verbs, two step directions, colors and negation) and expressive language (vocabulary, verbs, WH questions, yes/no questions and increasing sentence length). These can be with used by special education teachers, speech/language pathologists and parents for children/students with autism and other communication delays.
These can be printed and sent home, emailed to parents or sent on Seesaw or other forms of digital formats for distance learning.
It's officially Day 1 of the Adapted Book Challenge! It's not too late to join the rest of us who are busy making our first adapted book in the series. The first book is "The Snowy Day" and it is fitting for me as we had an early release from school due to a snowstorm! Join the challenge to get the visual pieces for this book and 6 other books + watch the free video series to get some tips for adapting books.Click here to join now: www.autismlittlelearners.com/challenge...
