Seeing People Wearing Masks Story
Happy Monday!
I had a couple of requests for a story about seeing other people wear masks out in public. I had been thinking about writing one because I live in Wisconsin and while many people are wearing masks in stores, not everyone is. Even as an adult, it felt kind of strange and startling to see people wearing masks. I’m SURE that our kids are feeling the same way. Once we talk about it in a non-scary way, it will become more normalized and cause less anxiety. So, here is a free story to help US and our children 😄

Thank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information. face masks
Your resources about COVID 19, masks and seeing others wearing masks are great. My students will greatly benefit from these wonderful stories. Thanks

You are amazing! Thank you for these free resources! I'm a social worker, and many of the clients I work with have young children about to go back to school – these resources will certainly be appreciated in the next few weeks =)
Hi Tara, this is a fantastic resource thank you for sharing.
Here in Australia, teachers are currently required to wear masks whilst teaching students. Coming back to school following a recent lockdown, we are seeing a huge number of extremely anxious/traumatised children arriving at school each morning. I am guessing that a large part of this is the mask wearing as we’ve not had to wear them with students before.
Would it be possible to access this resource with a change to page 5 so it reads ‘At school, I will see teachers wearing a mask’?
Thank you again.
Hi Jill!
