I recently had a request from a teacher and wife of a member of the military. She said the children often have trouble adjusting when their parent in, who is in the military, is deployed.  She said it is not only an adjustment period when the parent is gone, but also when they return.  I wrote this story in collaboration with Tiffany Lindberg.  We hope it helps some military children out there!
