Hey! I’m Tara!
I’m a speech-language pathologist who spent over 25 years running a communication-based classroom for young autistic children.
During that time, I watched the way we teach and support autistic students evolve—and I made it my mission to stay at the forefront of research and strategies. My top priority? Building positive, trusting relationships with my students.
In 2019, after losing my dad to leukemia, I needed something to pull me out of the darkness. That’s when I started creating resources for educators and parents—because I knew what it felt like to feel overwhelmed and unsure where to start.
Autism Little Learners was born from that season of grief, and it has grown into my passion: helping educators and parents reduce overwhelm, see progress, and celebrate small wins that build on each other.

When will I have access to the resources?
You will have access to the membership hub immediately. This includes the Adapted Book Library. As long as you remain an active member of The Autism Little Learners Membership, you will have access to the membership hub. New resources & training will be added throughout each month.
Do you accept school purchase orders?
Yes! Get in touch with us by email at support@autismlittlelearners.com. We will work with your district, even if it takes a while to get the PO ready and signed.
If I have a tech issue, how do I get help?
Please contact us at support@autismlittlelearners.com for help with any tech issues you might have.
How can I reach you if I have questions?
Our email is support@autismlittlelearners.com. We do our best to respond in a timely manner!
Our support team responds Monday–Friday during normal business hours, and members are always our top priority. We’ll be with you as soon as possible, usually within one business day.
On weekends, our team is with our families so we may not get to your message until Monday, but rest assured, we have it. We respond during business hours so we can offer thoughtful support.
Can I share some of the resources I get in the membership with another teacher?
Oh man! As much as I want to say “yes” the answer is, “Sorry, no”. The membership price covers the cost for one teacher or parent to use the resources for their own classroom/ students or for their child. You cannot share these products with other teachers (digitally or in printed form). Invite them to purchase their own membership and join you!!
When will I get charged for the membership?
You will be charged at the time of purchase for your yearly or monthly product membership. For monthly billing, you will receive a monthly charge on or around your renewal/billing date which would be based on your initial purchase date. For annual memberships, you will be charged for an additional year at the 1 year date of your initial purchase. You will receive an email to remind you before this happens for annual subscriptions.
What do I do if I need to cancel?
All memberships will renew automatically based on your subscription plan. If you choose the monthly subscription, the recurring payment will be billed to your account each month. If you choose the yearly subscription, your annual fee will be automatically billed to your account every year on the date you joined the membership. If you wish to cancel your membership, please send an email to support@autismlittlelearners.com at least 5 days before your renewal/billing date; otherwise, you will be charged for the following month. Once you have cancelled, you will no longer have access to the membership hub.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes and no. If you purchase the annual membership, you have 7 days to request a refund. Any member who purchases the Annual Membership and realizes it’s not for them may cancel within the first 7 days for a complete refund. Due to the digital nature of the membership, no refunds will be issued after 7 days. If you purchase a Monthly Membership, you may cancel at any time. Please see the “What do I do if I need to cancel” question. We do not offer refunds on monthly memberships. You will need to follow the instructions to cancel prior to your monthly billing date.
